About Our Pastor
"Dr. Dale" was born and reared in Scotland Co., NC. to the late Bill and Louise Robertson. He was baptized at Gibson Baptist Church in Gibson, NC at the age of 14 and was called to the gospel ministry at the age of 16. He graduated from Scotland County High School, Wingate College, Wake Forest University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned the Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry Degrees. His pastorates have been in Virginia and North Carolina. "Dr. Dale" has been the Senior Pastor of North Main Baptist Church since 1993. He has also served as the moderator of the Rowan Southern Baptist Association and Adjunct Professor of Pastoral Studies at New Life Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC. He has been married to his wife Claudia for 38 years. They have three children, Brett, Jason, and Crystal, and four grandchildren, Hannah, Jaden, Bryson, and Jasper. Another grandchild will be ariving in June.
